Tacos!

So we went to the apartment complexes taco Christmas party, well someone asked us about our church we talked a lot and planted a lot of seeds making friends.

Well after the party the apartment complex owner asked us a few more questions which are answer won her favor and she gave us all the leftovers. 3 garbage bags full. 

I have had tacos for 1 sometimes 2 meals everyday this week it is awesome. 

Now on to spiritual stuff, 

For a while I have felt the need to pray to be able to read hearts like in the scriptures well my answer came..  

the sister are working on reactivating a lady in the ward. Her non member husband(Travis) broke his foot, at work and sister Jensen felt compelled to offer the assistance of the priesthood. 

So we go over, after talking for a hit we teach them about the priesthood then give him the blessing.

During the blessing Travis was asked to help his struggling brother. After the blessing the member and travis started at each other and simultaneously asked each "other did you tell them?"

We then told him how lucky he was to receive a sign from God for this truthfulness. Nonetheless he is going to start taking the lessons.

The priesthood is real and I am happy to have it on the earth to help us and guide us.

One of the greatest gift in the world is the holy ghost, in my studies this week I am really focusing on how I can better use it and strengthen my relationship with God. If you have any favorite talks or stories feel free to send them my way.

we went to the zoo today so i dont have much time to write....

along with teaching all types of people. we are teaching 3 allens, 3 mikes, 2 marks, 2 allens an alden an alex... 

i don't know why but are teaching people seem to be specified to specific names lately.

Allen is like the best person ever right now, we met with him on tuesday and he accepted everything we said took the large print copy of the book of mormon and said i need some time but i will read it. but i need to handle some stuff before i make this life change so lets wait til the 18th to meet again and then i will be more ready to receive it. he is and older gentleman and he knows how to get work done. what he says is what happens. i am excited to keep working with him.
