Time is like a dime , it can be small and easily forgotten, but quickly disappears.... didnt really work out but whatever... this transfer has flown by, we only have 5 days till transfers again... btw transfers are on tuesday because president is gonna be out of town on wednesday and thursday...
This week was crazy... we had a lot of meeting...
Me and elder carter even got a little home sick because we didnt get to go to our appartment for two and a half days...
Monday was an exchange with elder smith... which was epic!... we had a blasts.
Tuesday was a spectacular zone conference,
Wednesday was a district activity.. we only just got to are appartment a hour ago ...
Anyway home safe and sound... except that transfers are this week... hahaha :(
This week was pretty good....
From the storms lately, it knocked a tree over on a members house... so we cleaned it up most of saturday and really got to grt to know the bishopric better.
Monday was the craziest day of them all, I woke up at 5 planed an hour long seminary lesson them went to seminary, learned that we were told the wrong chapters to teach so improvised a different lesson... we planed like 5 object lessons and yet did none of them lol... it was a very interesting experience lol
Then we drove up to lancaster for a exchange! I got to be with elder smith all day and we had a blast! We focused on trying to be better at goal setting so we set a goal to get 30 people to wave at us pass out 20 items and find 2 new investigators and we did it all!
Quick story, we were walking down main street and then all of a sudden there is an ambulance coming from both north and south of us... heading strait for each other sirens blaring, they almost hit each other when they stop inches from each other and one emptys into the other.... we w
Thought we were about to see a demolition derby. Ambulande style...
One lady yelled at us from her house as we were walking a way and asked if we saw what happened... she turned out to be a history teacher with 5 kids and is now reading the book of mormon and meeting with the missionaries....
God answers your prayers just maybe not the way you expect... finding her was the last goal we needed to hit at 8 30 pm to finish off are days goals!
We saw tons of miracles on that exchange... we had a heart felt lesson with jody there investigator in which she gave us a cigarett and let us run it over with our car a few times... ill send the video sometime...
We got two of ther othrr investigators justin and ray( highschool sweet hearts) to live the word of wisdom for a week to try it out! They gave us there coffee maker for the week... first time I have ever gotten one of those so far. :)
Anyways testimony meeting on sunday was amazing! This ward has really been changing this last transfer. It is turning prime for harvest.
We had zone conference on tuesday and it was just fantasitic... i am excited to apply all that i learned, i hope i am able to apply all the information to its fullest!
We also hiked all morning today for district activity... we had a compatition to see who could pet the most dogs and who could give out the most cards on the hike... i won for petting the most dogs... elder lomax gave out the most cards... it was a blast testifying to everyone who chose to hike this morning.
This is really scattered, sorry
Love yall
Have a great week
-Elder Jarvis
