I'll get to the name latter...
First off, I am also learning the power of facebook, elder carter and i set a goal to find a new investigator through facebook thst day with only two hours. I never understood what i could really do on facebook, sadly it was to no avail for our goal. But we should have a lot of new investigators soon, now that i found new ways to use facebook!
Second, i never understood the power of cleanliness till today, we spent 3 hours deep cleaning our appartment, and there is just a new spirit there, it is crazy. I love it. We better keep it this way!! It has helped me sleep better and just be overall so much happier.
Third, We had miracles everywhere this week!!
We are so out of miles for the rest of the month so we were walking everywhere, and we were walking to a potentials house named joseph meanwhile a family comes home across the street. Elder carter told me dont worry about them i knocked that house and they are far from interested. Well we feel a prompting to knock another house in the cold a sac and when were walking to that house. The lady from the family who just got home yells and says if you want to tslk to me hurry because i am getting in the shower in ten minuets. So of course we rushed over. She is a strong Christian who isnt really interested i our message at all, but i felt inspired to ask if we could do an object lesson. She first asked what that was because she hadnt hewrd of one bedfore. Then said yes if we will be quick. And all of a sudden were now inside the house with two parents and three kids abidly waiting for what we have to say. We gave a powerful lesson on the attonement and what it means for us. I am excited for nicole and her family. But it is gonna be slow and steady getting ready to accept the gospel, ahe is pretty set in where she stands... right now :P
We had a lesson with dave ( a less active) and i felt inspried to share something I never thought of before. 3rd nephi 28 8-9 twlking about the three nephites.
"And ye shall never endure the pains of death; but when I shall come in my glory ye shall be changed in the twinkling of an eye from mortality to immortality; and then shall ye be blessed in the kingdom of my Father.
9 And again, ye shall not have pain while ye shall dwell in the flesh, neither sorrow save it be for the sins of the world; and all this will I do because of the thing which ye have desired of me, for ye have desired that ye might bring the souls of men unto me, while the world shall stand."
This struck me hard and then what came out of mouth i had never thought of.... little background, this less active is schizophrenic( hopefully thats spelled right) and thinks he is gonna get stabed if he comes to church.... well after sharing those verses we talked abour, how if you go to church and serve god no physical pain will matter, christ did it, then the three nephites are living it. And the same blessing applys to us!! It was a powerful lesson.
People came to church!
Our investigator Trent an athiest came to church and loved it! In our leat lesson he was debating science with us and we did an object lesson saying it all comes back to faith and recieving a spiratual witness that requires not only reading but praying and coming to church all togeather. And he came!!!
To that lesson he brought a class mate who met with missionaries when he was in scoutland and is an orthodox Christian. And he (jack) came to church too!
We also had four less actives come to church! It was a crazy sunday.
The main less active i want to point out is bro davidson! He is just such a stud, when we talked to him he is just tryong to turn his life around and we were just the apart to start the flame again! He has to fix some things but he cant wait to go back to the temple. And he is excited to get a calling, he said it is what he has been missing in his life!
Last miracles
We decided to call all the potentials in our reccords and see if we can get in contwct with any of them. Well we called Jared ans he is so prepared! He asked to meet with us the next day and he loves the gospel and is sorry thst he blew off thr previous missionaries because he was too busy with school. We have another lesson with him on thursday and i am excited for him!
Now to the tittle of my email,
Last week i decided to eat healthy, so i decided to stock up on two boxes of family size raisin bran, thinking it would last me two weeks or more, well i ate both boxes in 6 days, its 22 servings... haha, i was hungry okay.
One of the sisters investigators we did service for after asked us a few questions then told us to lie to him to show were human, so i said i was a pink unicorn and elder carted said he was a purple hippo. Well now thats what he calls us the first time he sees us every time... he will call us our names. He just likes freaking us out by yelling purple hippo at us in the middle of the grocerie store or when he drives by us.... hahaha
Lastly they had bed bugs when i came into the area, but we caught on to it pretty fast and we think we got ridr of them all before they feasted on us, its been a week and we havent seen any anymore.

P.S. me and elder carter do tons of object lessons. Like at least three a day its awesome! I love object lessons.
