Birthday Cake

Well this week was a lo ng one with lots of meetings heremis more of the fun stuff...

Mike and Sarah are cool, they are working towards april 21st mike is extreemly ready, the only problem is sarah is extreemly scared of meeting so many new people at once so she has been too scared to come yet. But they will come around, they have nothing going on this sunday so they said they will be there and then to add onto it sarahs mother died, and the house is being repossessed so they need to get everything out of it quick, it created the perfect oppertunity to help sarah get involved with members, we have about 20 mwmbers coming to help them get stuff tomorrow. Its goona be sweet. Mike also told us to not worry about sarah and him because they already know its true its the only church that has the power of god, whymwouldmwe look at any other church... mike is such a stud, i cant wait til the day they get baptized, he is so ready.

Sunday night, we are out talking to less actives who really didnt care for the church anymore ehich was sad. But after the last less active we walk to the end of the street and i feel a strong prompting to ask elder vance which house to knock. I wont lie i fought the prompting but eventually i gave in and that house we knocked was Katharine (Kat) and she is the sweetest newly wed, they just moved in last month from Greenfield, and are looking for a new church, we asked if we could give her and her family a chappel tour sometime and she litterally asked it right now would work for us, sadly we had to head home because time was up, so we scheduled it for tomorrow when her husband and three kids could all come togeather.... she is so awsome, i cant wait to see her progress

I went on an exchange in huber hieghts with elder hepler and it was weird, i have never been out knocking doors with someone that much taller then me. He hit is head on everything, i stsrted to count but lost count after 11. I felt so bad but we were just lauphing. The best one was when we found Remmy a supper sweet guy from Africa. We knocked his door taught him about the restoration, taught him about fasting and the organization of the church, and by the end of it we invited him to pray about our message to know if it was true and he said he wouldnt pray for that because he already knows its true. It was probably one of the best lessons i have been in on my mission so far. He then asked if he could say the closing prayer and it was the sweetest prayer of how thankful he was to god for sendingnus here and that our familys raised us to know God and so on and so forth it was just awesome. Clarification he was just awesome, i deffinately didnt do much for him he did it for himself. I just wish i was gonna be the elders to teach him. But it was funny because right after the really sweet prayer we stand up and elder hepler almost breaks the Chandler.... it was hillarious afterwards...

We went to the airforce museum for about 3 hours today, it was fun i really liked going into thr presidential planes, only problem was the sixe of some of them... we didnt all(the district) fit....

We had zone comference and my stud of a companion acted as the savior and did 5 pushups for every one in the zone so that they could have a truffel if they wanted one or not, there were about 60 missionaries there. It was really cool because after the first 6 people the whole zone got on the grouns and did pushups with him to support him even though anything we did didnt count.... lots of pushupsmwere done that day, we had a sore zone the next day... hahaha

Really random side note, we went to one members home and there niece just got called to the phillipeans and is going into thr same mission and same day as sheldon back home...its a small world afterall.... they also fave a firemans pole from the first floor to the basement which was really fun we used it to teach thst it is really easy to see something that looks nice and slide into sin but it takes alot more time and effort to repent once you have sinned... we went up and down it like 8 times... haha

Lastly we had a cool miracle, we were visiting somw people and we knocked one house inbetween well dave answered and asked us to come sing happy birth day to his wife and eat cake and share a short messsage with them, lwts just say it was not the usual response missionaries get... he is really cool, he said he will come to are churchnif we go to his so were doing a church swap and then he is gonna take us to a fancy restaurant his brother owns to talk more about our message a few days latter... i am excited for it.
