I am running low on time....
Sad part an investigator has disappeared. With only a note on her door kicking out her boyfriend. So its good she quit weed, smooking and may no longer have a law of chasticy concern. But since that note we have stopped by three times and havent been able to find her. She is really prepared for the gospel, she loves to read and pray, church hasnt happened yet because of holidays. But she is so solid otherwise.
We got chewed out becauae we didnt request food on christmas... we werent bold about are dinners hahahaha.... we werent fed on christmas.... im sorry we didnt beg the members for their paychecks hahahaha.
We give a blessing or more everyweek. I feel so privlaged to be appart of that experience. For the last 9 weeks.
Things seem to be picking up on facebook and in the areas in general.
On facebook, we started going throough our phone and all our formers and for once i actually feel like gods tool when i am messaging those people, before it was just because we had to, now i am finding joy in the work. So that was a powerful change
We also had an exchange with the zome leaders elder wakley and elder winland (i was surounded by w`s)
Elder wakley also confronted me about being pesamistic and we talked about why. And set some goals and realization of what to change to make me more an optimist. And it was very noticable the day after the exchange, in how much more i love the people and love my companion as i do what we talked about. We also set some goals for me to be more patient. Having me read through that section of preach my gospel. I am excited since the exchange i have been a lot happier and the area is booming with sucess. I just hope i am in the area long enough too see it.
One last miracle, we finally got in contact with an old investigstor we hadnt seen for three weeks, and he prayed with us.how we pray, it was amazing i love investigators first prayers. for once he didnt say the loeds prayer, the spirit was strong when he prayed even though his opening was a little something else. He will be babtized eventually. Everytime i see him he says he is 100 percent something else and then goes on to insult, something about something else(something else being his current religion. I am excited.

This week was alright, lets just say now that the holidays are over its time to put away the sweets and get to work. It may be cold but i like to knock doors then be locked in on the other side. Hahaha

Someone thought elder watkins was a my date as we were walking down the street the other day, i might give him a little to much crap for that but it was funny and is still funny to think about.
This week We blited are area for the first time,(it requested that for district leaders their first exchange they bring them into their area) with the waverly elders staying here. It was funny because. It was one of our first days with no lessons planned at all only finding. So mine and elder watkins goal for the exchange was formers. We really had no success that day with formers. But i never would of thought that asking to pee would actually get you into the house. But we knocked one former who had no interest what so ever. He said he was firm in his belief . Then elder baldwin right before he shut the door said, can i use your bathroom i really need to pee. Meanwhile elder baldwin was in the bathroom i taught him the restoration. I dont know what i did wrong though because he said its really cool and that hes glad that guys like us have that faith but then said he is too old to change and that the preacher on tv is good enough for him. So funny that it worked and let us in but sad his decision.
On the exchange their was a cool miracle, i felt a need to go south instead of going to the sticks as planned. I told elder baldwin what i felt, as a lot of streets are one ways i had to go on a loop to turn around, well in that loop we saw a guy trying to put on a railing for his house and was struggling so of course we pull over and run back and help him. Well he is highly interested in the gospel, he also is a guy elder baldwin met at one of his investigators brithdays down in waverly a month ago. So it was divine design that we would find him on the day of the blits. He is really cool, a little firm in his belief but god can soften his heart.

"How was your christmas?
Tbh christmas out in the field was boring, we just ate a lot of sweets and were locked inside as we werent allowee to procelite on christmas or christmas eve....
But its all good, being a missionary is fun because everyday but holidays are holidays, meaning i love normal days because i get to see thousands of gifts and blessings rain down on people constantly, that is truely the best holiday. "
