Wow have I changed, I left on a mission believing it was true, hoping it was true, never knowing much else. Now I have been out here being tested and tried day in and out. I have learned a great love for the Scriptures, and have read them and pray about then often. My faith in God is unshakable despite how many people have other views of our church. I know Gods Real, this is the greatest message to the world today, God cares about each of us individuals, and Finally by Gods Grace we are able to often Find miracles.
Miracles
1 Ally, after 30 minutes of biking and an hour of knocking doors, we are hungry and sweating in the heat. Not only that our faith is being questioned as the only answers we have got this far have been "no thanks or dont even try, or it's too hot to deal with you today". But we pressed on and after the trial of our faith God did his work. We knocked on a door of a very wealthy looking home(often means they care more for money then God). No answer, we knock again. Ally answered she is the younger cousin of the house owner and has been to busy working to Go to Church. As we shared with her how God has restored his Church with prophets and apostles who work 24/7 to help people find God. She loved the idea of the book of Mormon and once we gave it to her you could see without question that we had given her the greatest Gift she could recieve. She hugged the book very tightly even clinging to it. As we were leaving she stopped us and asked when you come back can I have my friends join us. I think this will be good for all of us. Of course we were enthusiastic to say yes.. tomorrow hopefully will be the first time I have ever taught 5 college students at once possible more. We are super excited to work with her. Moral of the story, we try and God works the Miracle.
2 Dean
Dean was someone who had met missionaries before but had questions no one was able to answer. We went over and he brought a antagonistic friend to join us but as we were bombarded with questions the spirit touched dean and he received a change of heart right before our eyes and he recognized he felt something compelling him towards the church that he stopped asking questions and started answering them. By the end he is now praying on when he wants to be baptized.
I love God
I love Ohio
And I love you
If you have questions email me, I would love to help if I can and If I cant we can learn together
